Commercially registered yachts over 500Gt are required to comply with the INTERNATIONAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT CODE (ISM) and the INTERNATIONAL SHIP AND PORT FACILITY SECURITY CODE (ISPS).

At Penumbra Marine we can provide the following services to help yacht comply with these codes, we can also assist privately registered or yachts under 500Gt that wish to conform to these codes to ensure the highest standards of safety and security.

In addition to these services we can assist with producing SOPEP and USCG Approved NTVRP's

Whilst we take the role of DPA and CSO very seriously and will ensure all aspects of the relevant codes are met, we maintain our understanding of the fact that the Captain is in charge of the vessel and will work with him to ensure that the systems are implemented in an unobtrusive manner.
